Kayla Petersen grew up in Avoca, IA & has always loved living in a small town. During her senior year of high school, she moved with her parents to Papillion, NE. Even though she loved the convenience of living in a city (especially being close to Target), she missed the small town vibes. Therefore, she excitedly moved to Elk Horn, IA after her & her husband, Kendall, got married. Although, she weekly makes a trip to the big city for real estate and to shop at Target!
In her free time, Kayla loves to volunteer at her local church, travel, and spend time with old friends or make new ones. She also enjoys mentoring young girls and bringing her little cousins out to the farm and ending the night with a sleepover.
Kayla has worn a few carrier hats. While she was a full time student in college, she also worked at a bank full time as a personal banker. She also has experience with graphic design and personal insurance. All these roles have given her the opportunity to be a well-rounded agent.
